There have been no reports of injuries or damage, and no risk of a tsunami after three relatively strong earthquakes off the coast of Vancouver Island Sunday night.
The U-S Geological Survey reported a 6.6-magnitude quake about 260 kilometres west of Tofino, followed by a 6.8 tremor and then a third measuring 6.5 — all happening over the course of an hour.
At last report no one was hurt in the quakes.
