I’m an early bird and will sacrifice an hour of sleep to get some quiet time on my own at the beginning of the day, while my brain is still working! Lately it has been so lovely to have the sun rising with me, but that all changes this weekend when the clocks change and we spread the daylight into the evening… but in exchange I get to say…
“GO PLAY OUTSIDE, KIDS!”
Speaking of kids, Bowl for Kids Sake is a Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley fundraiser, where teams come together to bowl for fun and to raise money for these important programs supporting children in Langley. Register a team or support your friends this weekend at Willowbrook Lanes in Langley! I will be bowling with some familiar Langley faces on Friday.
The Cloverdale Kids Swap Meet is happening on Saturday. Here’s the spot where you can get gently used or sometimes brand spanking new (kids grow SO fast). This takes place at Shannon Hall in Cloverdale, 6050-176 Street from 9-12:30.
Kids get in free during the month of March at the Van Dusen Garden Botanical Garden in Vancouver, two free child’s admission with each paying adult. A great opportunity to take a little trip to the city and enjoy this beautiful spot!
