The possible packaging site was discovered in the City Centre area by a partner agency. On April 24, 2018, BC Bailiffs were executing a Supreme Court Writ of Possession at a residence in the 10400 block of University Drive when the discovery was made. Upon receiving the information from BC Bailiffs, the Surrey RCMP Drug Section began an investigation which included executing a search warrant at the residence.
As a result of the investigation, police located and seized:
- Multiple packaged doses of suspected methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin and fentanyl.
- Numerous items used in the processing and packaging of drugs.
- Firearm ammunition of various calibers
An adult male has been arrested in connection with the investigation and released. Charges have not been laid as the investigation is on-going. The public can help by reporting suspicious activity to police and providing information which will assist the Surrey RCMP in their goal of keeping Surrey safe.
