Today is Teachers Appreciation Day. And for the most part, we can’t thank our teachers enough for what they have done for us during our most formidable and volatile years of our lives. We all have the teacher we loved, we all had the teacher we hated. Our teachers did what they could with the resources given to try and help sculpt our minds into – partially – what they are today. I’ve always wondered why we put professional athletes up on these massive pedestals and pay them ridiculous amounts of money, when the people who deserve our gratitude, our respect, and our admiration are the people who shaped our lives from the ages of 3 or 4 or 5 years until adulthood. Teachers will never be as outright famous as, say, the Sedins, but they certainly deserve much more than they will ever be given. Thank You.
