A Surrey man has been charged with the murder, resulting from an assault in North Surrey earlier this year.
On Feb. 17, Surrey RCMP were called to a report on an assault in the 13300-block of 105 Avenue. When police arrived, they found 68-year-old Tee Bor with serious injuries.
He was take to hospital where he died.
On July 12, police arrested 26-year-old Pee Lee Pi, of Surrey. He has been charged with second-degree murder.
Pi was expected to appear before a judge in B.C. Provincial Court in Surrey on Monday.
Court records show Pi has no previous criminal history, nor did Tee Bor.
