Just after 2 am the Surrey RCMP received calls of shots heard near the 14300 block of Crescent Road in South Surrey. Officers located one man nearby suffering from gunshot wounds and despite all attempts to assist the individual, he succumbed to his injuries. The RCMP also received a call from a woman suffering from gunshot wounds who had driven herself a short distance away from the scene. That woman is in serious condition at hospital. Police say that it does not appear to be a random act. The Integrated Homicide Team( IHIT) have been called in to assist in the investigation.
