Road closures remain in effect around a Langley business park after an ammonia leak Wednesday morning at a pet food manufacturer. Fire Crews were called to the intersection of Gloucester Way and 272 Street. Around 150 workers were evacuated with no reported injuries.
Technicians learned that the controlled ammonia release was moving too slowly so they had to postpone the reopening of the roads this morning. However one business originally identified as inaccessible at 26820 Gloucester Way does now have access and is open. The map below shows the following properties still affected by the road closures. We are hoping to get an update very soon.
