Next on the list for our Pulse Personalities segment is Neil Morrison! He’s our amazing host of The Ride, from 2pm-8pm! We love hearing his unique take on all the topics he covers, and now we’re ready for a deep-dive into some fun facts about this fantastic dude!
1. Where were you born?
Toronto. Moved to BC 16 years ago. #loveit
2. Best childhood memory?
Trips to New York with my father and London England with my mother.
3. Favourite restaurant?
Uli’s. The atmosphere and food are outstanding. Gotta try and Uli Burger!
4. Favourite singer/band?
Mike Ness/Social Distortion and Katy Perry. My first love is Punk Rock, but I like some pop music as well. Katy goes without saying.
5. Favourite movie?
It’s all Gone Pete Tong. It is a move about a DJ in Ibiza Spain who loses his hearing. It’s not well known but it’s a masterpiece. And Canadian!
6. If you could be any animal, what would it be?
Dog. They’re big and goofy just like me.
7. Favourite sound?
Farts (kidding. The Beach) I love the sound of the surf. It’s calming.
8. Best advice you ever received?
“Don’t sweat the small stuff” A former co-worker told me this after recovering from a nervous breakdown.
9. Scariest moment of your life?
Almost drowning in the English Channel. Got caught I the tide when I was 8. A cousin pulled me out before the tide swept me away.
10. If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?
Maui. There is no other place I have ever been to where you actually, ‘chill.’ That’s Maui.
