On Tuesday Pulse Mornings welcomed Tom Bryant, Judy Higginbotham, Michael Pearce, Darryl Walker and Garry Wolgemuth for day six of our Mayoral Candidate Conversations taking place the last two weeks on Pulse 107.7 FM.
Topics in the discussion, moderated by Pulse Morning’s Ian Power, ranged from how their leadership style differs from their opponents, how they plan to keep up with population demand and manage growth carefully in the city where there is little room to grow as well what their thoughts are on the retailing, distribution and consumption of legalized recreational marijuana in White Rock once legalized October 17th.
Candidates were also asked how they plan to increase voter engagement and what their favourite activity is in White Rock besides walking the pier.
Wolgemuth enjoys walking White Rock beach and hiking local ravines, Walker enjoys taking in local theatre shows at the White Rock little theatre, Pearce likes the live music shows including concerts at the Pier, Higginbotham loves sampling the local dining scene in particular Charlie Don’t Surf, and Bryant enjoys supporting rting low-income residents at White Rock recovery houses.
