There’s a really awesome “Synchronized Swimming” event thats coming to Surrey this week.
Athletes from Austria, France, Japan, Korea, Serbia, Ukraine, USA, and of course Canada
will be participating!
If you’ve never watched this type of water ballet, groups of swimmers showcasing thier dancing skills
under water… Oh Snap – we’re telling ya, it’s amazing to see live!
It starts on Thursday May 31, 2018 and goes till Saturday June 2, 2018 this week. Dont miss it – its the
‘Canada Open Artistic Swimming Championships’ at the Surrey Sport and Leisure Complex.
There’s basically 10 stops in total, where athletes get to compete around the world
in the FINA Artistic Swimming World Series, and right here in the Lower Mainland is one of those spots
thats hosting the competition.
