The Walmart at Guilford has been shut down after an outbreak of Legionnaire’s Disease. Fraser Health saying 7 confirmed cases could be linked to the store and it’s cooling towers. Legionnaire’s is a pneumonia like disease that can’t be spread from human to human but if it get’s into a water system such is the case here and you breath in water vapour, you could be in trouble. If you feel a bad cold coming on check with your doctor. Especially if you have been to Guildford Walmart recently. Fraser Health are investigating to see whether or not there are other possible sources of the outbreak.
