Betcha didn’t know there’s a powerful anti-racism story behind how Coldplay’s song “Yellow” made it into one of this week’s top Box Office movies “Crazy Rich Asians”.
If you watched the romantic comedy this week at Guildford’s Landmark Cinemas , you might recall hearing a version of the song at the end of the film.
Below is a very touching letter sent by the movie’s director to Coldplay , when he asked for special permission from the band to use their song in the movie. (As posted on author Kevin Kwan’s Instagram)
Random Fun Fact: “Crazy Rich Asians” Director Jon Chu was also the director of Canadian Star Justin Bieber’s film “Never Say Never” , how cool is that! 😉
