I’ve been been getting my hair dyed blonde since I was 13 years old. I can’t emphasize enough that I have tried everything… from box dye, to trying to find that perfect stylist that can make my blonde ambitions come to reality.

Let’s rewind a little and I’ll take you from the top of my experience at Crush Hair Co. Located in Surrey located in the Panorama Village shopping centre at the corner of 152nd and Highway 10, I walked in to a lovely, well-lit, clean, and warm ambiance.
I was immediately greeted by the friendly receptionist, and then was whisked away to a comfortable salon chair. Even though I had arrived 10 minutes early, my stylist Magda was already there to greet me and get my appointment started.
They offered me a beverage and made me as comfortable as possible.
Magda is a known at Crush Hair Co as their resident blonde specialist, and so I knew I was in good hands. The entire process was extremely pleasant from start to finish, and Magda made sure to be painstakingly detail-oriented so I ended up with exactly what I wanted. She used a technique I had never experienced before, where she mixed two shades together to create my custom shade. She made sure to give my roots a more toned down effect, to help everything blend together nicely. She mentioned that it would last me longer than usual before I’d have to come back to get my hair coloured again, because with the toned root effect, this look will be super easy to maintain!
On my way out, I also picked up the Milkshake ‘Incredible Milk 12 Effects’ product to maintain the health of my hair. The way they explained it to me is that any time you get your hair lightened, it can be a stressful experience for your hair. Using high quality hair products will maintain the colour, and keep your hair looking fresh between salon visits.
Plus, the stuff smells amazing – like caramel!
