Sunday I went golfing in the afternoon with my fiance, Neil Morrision our Afternoon Drive host and Neil’s friend Mike. I haven’t golfed in well over a year and it started out shaky but midway I started playing so much better, I even out drove Neil, don’t tell him I told you that. It had been over a year since my last golf game but we had a ton of fun, but it was so hot out!
In the evening we went over to Neil’s friend Ashton’s place to catch the always awesome Torchlight Parade in White Rock. Ashton lives right on Marine Drive with a great view of the parade so we hung out and watched all the floats go by and took in the sites.
I have to say there were alot of great floats including our own Pulse FM vehicle, but I have to mention the rainbow lights on the pier which looked just as spectacular, well done White Rock, well done. If you haven’t checked out the Torchlight Parade, it is a must. Make sure you go next year!
