My Flashback song today was written and recorded by Sting in 1993. “Fields of Gold” was released as a single but only made it to #16 on the UK Singles Chart and #23 on the US Billboard Hot 100. But it did make it to #2 here in Canada.
It became one of Sting’s most famous songs, with many renowned artists covering the song.
