Tomorrow is the final day for the 5th annual Coffee With Cops with a stop starting at 10am at Espresso Cafe’ at 1112-7330 137St in Newton.
All week residents and businesses have been welcome to meet with officers all who work within the community to discuss work being done by police in the community and how we can all continue to impove safety in our communities South of the Fraser.
Police say it went very well in the first four years Coffee With Cops happened and we’ll assume another year of success.
But that’s not as far as we’d like it to go here on Pulse FM.
Periodically, we’re going to invite the Surrey RCMP into our studios and talk about issues, and talk about things you need to know about your community.
It won’t be hard hitting in the sense that we’ll deal with hard news only. We will, but we want to get to know our communities even better through the eyes of the Surrey RCMP.
Various events going in the community will also be discussed.
Next Wednesday Sgt. El Sturko and Surrey RCMP Officer of the Year Cpl. Richard Wright from the Surrey RCMP Media Relations Office will join us in studio just past 3PM.
We’d like to invite you to have a listen to what they have to say.
Who knows, if things go well, visits and, ‘Conversation With Cops’ may just become a regular part of the programming here on Pulse Fm.
