Chris – the guy from our production department is going to, ‘enjoy’ his first winter in BC this year. I remember mine. It was 13 years ago – I had moved here in February of 2004 and it rained every day for the first month after I arrived. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll take a ton of rain over a ton of snow anyway, but the adjustment anyone new to the area has to get used to – the amount of rain that we get! Last year, we had a mix of rain and then snow and them cold – for this ex-easterner it was a refreshing change from rain, rain, and more rain from November until April. Chris constantly asks, ‘Normally, how much rain do we REALLY get?’ I hope he gets a chance to find out. You have to break the newbies in quickly to survive around these parts. Neil
