Now that the heat wave is over I guess for now, I’m hoping I can try planting flowers in my garden. I don’t really garden and I surely don’t have a green thumb. However I do like to plant some flowers in my front yard and on my patio. Last week I had bought some seeds and some really good gardening soil with the intention of planting them the next day.
Mother Nature though had other plans for me because then the heat wave hit the South Coast and it was too hot outside for me to plant them. I may be a little bit of a wimp but I knew if I did try and plant them I would have rushed and not done a good job.
Fast forward to this week and the temperature has leveled off and my plans this weekend are……you guess it to finally plant my garden of flowers, unless of course Mother Nature wants to change her mind again. I’ll let you know on Monday how it all worked out! Happy Friday!
