It amazes me that there are horrible people that commit awful crimes and are sent to prison but they receive love letters and even get asked for their autographs! I don’t understand this at all.
I was just reading about the Voodoo Doughnut shop in Portland Oregon honouring Charles Manson with a doughnut with his image and the words “Charles Manson 1934-2017” Really? They actually tweeted a picture of this doughnut. I wish this shop thought about the poor families whose lives were ruined and will never be the same. I wish they honoured them instead of this horrible man.
To be somewhat fair, this isn’t the first time Voodoo Doughnut has created doughnuts following celebrity deaths, this is just the only instance they’ve created a dessert with the face of a convicted killer. However I disagree with this wholeheartedly. What about you, what are your thoughts? Let me know here.
