We’re off and sipping to borrow from an old expression. Today was our first Pulse Mornings Perk-Up! Vanessa and I went to Docksteader Source For Sports in South Surrey to share a cuppa with Dave and Lee. Not your ordinary cup, mind you. We brought with us Spent Grounds Coffee Roasters Colombian Supremo; hot and cold brew. Colombia is the second largest producer of coffee in the world and the largest producer of washed and Arabica coffee. There are 3 primary varieties grown in Colombia and the coffee is referred to by the region in which it is grown. The cup I had was about as smooth as a cup of coffee gets. Not only do they roast their own beans at the onsite roastery, they also believe in supporting other local, small artisans that craft healthy meals and snacks. There are many coffee chains, but not many focusing on the quality of the beans and the experience of taking the time to have a coffee.
